Culture Media Group has signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Henan Zhenghe Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Zhenghe), a Chinese company specializing in digital marketing and brand distribution, and has set out to expand business cooperation between Korea and China in earnest.
Culture Media Group announced that it held a signing ceremony with Zhenghe Technology at Junghwaru in Incheon Chinatown on April 27 and agreed to strengthen distribution and marketing cooperation between the two companies as an official vendor in the Korean market.
Through this agreement, both companies plan to actively pursue joint projects for entering the Korean and Chinese markets, along with establishing a distribution system based on digital technology.
Zhenghe is a company established in Zhengzhou, China in 2017 that operates a "Full-Chain" digital marketing system encompassing research and development (R&D), supply chain management, live commerce, and social media branding.
Currently, it employs approximately 800 professionals and holds 489 intellectual property rights (IPs), while building a robust distribution infrastructure based on a logistics network of over 2,400 locations across China.
Representative brands include the premium baijiu brand "Guichangchun," the sports rehabilitation specialist brand "Balive," the beauty brand "Prlv," and the health functional food brand "Kangwite." As Zhenghe's official Korean vendor, Culture Media Group will support the entry of excellent domestic brands into the Chinese market while simultaneously expanding the domestic distribution of competitive Chinese brands.
In particular, the two companies intend to expand cooperation based on practical business models, such as K-food localization strategies, joint Korea-China live commerce projects, digital marketing and content production, and the establishment of an integrated Korea-China distribution platform.
Having previously established an official vendor cooperation system with Mingren Group, a Chinese sparkling water company with an annual production capacity of 5 billion bottles, Culture Media Group has further strengthened its network within China through this agreement with Zhenghe. Yu Zhengshi, CEO of Zhenghe, stated, “Cooperation with Culture Media Group will be of great help in enabling excellent Korean products to stably enter China’s vast digital distribution ecosystem,” adding, “We will continue to explore new business opportunities between companies of both countries.”
Ko Seong-min, CEO of Culture Media Group, said, “Zhenghe’s digital marketing capabilities and extensive distribution network will provide new growth opportunities for Korean companies,” and added, “Beyond simple business cooperation, we will faithfully fulfill our role as a bridgehead to drive tangible sales results and expansion into global markets.”
