이번 임시회에서는 조례안 및 일반안과 함께 2026년도 제1회 추가경정예산안 등을 심사했다.
총 13건의 안건 중 ▲「제천시 행사예산 공개에 관한 조례안」(이경리 의원 발의)과 ▲「제천시 인공지능행정 구현에 관한 조례안」(김수완 의원 발의)을 포함한 조례안 및 일반안 7건은 원안가결했고, 4건은 수정가결했다.
또한 집행부가 제출한 2026년도 제1회 추가경정예산 1조 3,565억원 중 일반회계 세출예산 21억원을 삭감해 내부유보금으로 편성했으며 제1회 기금운용계획변경안은 원안대로 의결했다.
박영기 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “제1회 추가경정예산안은 국내외 어려운 상황 속에서 지역경제 회복을 위해 재원의 합리적인 배분에 중점을 두었다”며 “앞으로도 시민의 소중한 세금이 적재적소에 쓰일 수 있도록 의회의 역할에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
다음 회기는 6월 18일 열리는 제357회 제1차 정례회로 「2025회계연도 결산승인의 건」 등을 심의할 예정이다.
