▲ 제68회 밀양아리랑대축제 5월 7일부터 10일까지
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시의 대표 전통문화축제인 밀양아리랑대축제가 오는 5월 7일부터 10일까지 영남루와 밀양강변 일원에서 열린다.
1957년 영남루 대보수를 기념해 시작된 이 축제는 올해로 68회를 맞으며, 전통과 현대를 결합한 다양한 신규 콘텐츠로 관람객을 맞이한다.
올해 슬로건은 ‘아리랑, 시대를 넘어 미래로’로, 유네스코 인류무형문화유산인 아리랑의 가치를 현대적으로 확장해 세계인이 공감하는 축제로 도약하겠다는 의미를 담았다.
축제의 하이라이트인 ‘밀양강 오딧세이’는 ‘사명, 세상으로 간다’를 주제로, 조선시대 승병장 사명대사의 호국 서사를 실경 멀티미디어 공연으로 풀어낸다.
