(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 '전남 섬 방문의 해'를 맞아 전남만의 매력을 담은 체류형 걷기 관광 프로그램 ‘섬섬 걸을래’의 첫 대상지로 고흥 연홍도와 완도 청산도·보길도를 최종 선정했다.
‘섬섬 걸을래’는 단순한 방문을 넘어 걷기, 체험, 숙박, 지역 문화를 하나로 묶어 관광객이 섬에 머물며 깊이 있게 즐길 수 있는 체류형 관광 모델이다. 특히 관광객의 체류 시간을 늘려 지역 내 실질적인 소비를 이끌어내는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
이번 선정은 섬 관광 전문가들로 구성된 위원회가 프로그램 구성, 교통 및 숙박 대책, 주민 참여도 등 7개 항목을 엄격히 심사한 결과다.
