통합특별시는 24일부터 25일까지 이틀간 전남여성가족재단에서 여성폭력방지시설 종사자 116명을 대상으로 ‘2026년 여성폭력방지시설 종사자 역량 강화 교육’을 실시한다.
이번 교육은 최근 급증하는 스토킹, 교제폭력, 디지털 성범죄 등 신종 여성폭력 피해에 효과적으로 대응하고, 피해자 상담과 지원을 맡은 현장 종사자들의 전문성을 제고하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 박희석 마음숲심리상담센터장(교수)이 강사로 참여해 상담 현장에서 즉시 적용할 수 있는 실습과 사례 중심으로 진행된다. 주요 교육 내용은 ▲상담 초기 내담자와의 관계 형성 ▲상담 단계별 핵심 기술 ▲감정의 중요성과 원리 이해 ▲건강한 감정 표현을 돕는 상담 기법 등이다. 이와 함께 보조금 집행 등 투명하고 정확한 행정을 위한 회계 실무 교육도 병행된다.
통합특별시는 이번 교육을 통해 종사자의 상담 전문성을 높이는 한편, 다양한 피해 상황에 맞춘 현장 대응 역량을 크게 끌어올릴 방침이다.
