옥천군은 (재)예술경영지원센터의 ‘2026년 공연예술 지역유통 지원사업’ 선정작인 ‘미디어&샌드아트와 함께하는 가족오페라 <마술피리>’를 오는 8월 13일 오후 7시 30분 옥천문화예술회관 무대에 올린다고 밝혔다.
이번 공연은 작곡가 모차르트의 대표 오페라인 <마술피리>에 화려한 미디어아트와 감성적인 샌드아트 연출을 접목해 재해석한 작품이다. 밤의 여왕의 딸 파미나를 구하기 위해 모험을 떠나는 왕자 타미노와 새잡이 파파게노의 이야기를 환상적인 영상과 모래 그림으로 풀어내 다채로운 볼거리를 전달한다.
특히 오페라가 어렵게 느껴질 수 있는 관객들을 위해 친근한 해설을 덧붙여 어린이부터 성인까지 온 가족이 함께 이해하고 즐길 수 있도록 내용을 구성했다. 이번 공연의 관람 연령은 만 7세 이상이며 러닝타임은 90분이다.
