이날 점검에는 변인수 군수권한대행을 비롯해 재난안전과장과 재난예방팀장 등이 참여했으며, 보은읍 금굴리 중초지구 풍수해 생활권 종합정비사업 현장과 탄부면 대양리 비탈사면 정비사업 현장 등 2개소를 대상으로 진행됐다.
군은 현장에서 △사업장 안전관리계획 이행 여부 △우기 대비 안전조치 실시 여부 △사업 추진 상황 및 보완 필요 사항 등을 중점적으로 확인했다. 특히 집중호우 시 피해로 이어질 수 있는 사면 안정 상태와 배수시설 관리 실태를 점검하고, 미비점은 즉시 보완하도록 조치했다.
또한 공사장 내 안전시설 설치 상태와 작업자 안전관리 실태도 함께 점검해 여름철 자연재난과 산업재해를 동시에 예방하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
