민주평화통일자문회의 안양시협의회(회장 박경애)가 청년 자문위원을 대상으로 한 출산축하금 지원 제도를 도입하고 첫 지원 사례를 마련했다.
협의회는 청년 자문위원 출산 시 자치운영비 50만 원과 회장 찬조금 50만 원을 더해 총 100만 원의 축하금을 지원하는 제도를 시행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 제도는 저출산 문제가 국가적 과제로 대두된 상황에서 청년 세대의 출산 부담을 완화하고, 지역사회 차원의 참여를 확대하기 위해 마련됐다.
협의회는 해당 지원이 청년 자문위원의 안정적인 가정 형성과 출산 친화적 분위기 조성에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
박경애 회장은 “청년 세대가 아이를 낳고 키우는 데 있어 부담을 조금이나마 덜어주기 위해 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 정책 흐름에 맞춰 청년을 위한 실질적인 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Anyang City Council of the National Unification Advisory Council (Chairperson Park Kyung-ae) has introduced a childbirth congratulatory grant system for youth advisory members and has established its first case of support.
The Council announced that it has implemented a system to provide a total congratulatory grant of 1 million won upon the birth of a youth advisory member, combining 500,000 won from the local government operating budget with a 500,000 won contribution from the Chairperson.
This system was established to alleviate the burden of childbirth for the younger generation and expand community-level participation, given that the low birth rate has emerged as a national challenge.
