괴산군체육회와 괴산군궁도협회가 주최·주관한 이번 대회는 식전 공연과 개회식을 시작으로 사흘간 진행됐다. 대회에는 단체전 100팀을 비롯해 실업부, 개인전 노년·장년·여자부 등 전국 각지에서 1,500여 명의 선수단과 관계자가 대거 참가해 그동안 갈고닦은 기량을 마음껏 펼쳤다.
열띤 경합 끝에 단체전 우승은 포항 권무정의 정태관이 차지해 우승기와 상장을 받았다. 개인전 부문별 1위는 노년부 의성 의무정 박종식, 장년부 용인 용무정 김용문, 여자부 함안 가야정 신정희, 실업부 서울시체육회 최홍석이 각각 이름을 올렸다.
