Yuhan USA Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Yuhan Corporation, and digital healthcare innovation company HUINNO announced on March 30 that they are set to penetrate the U.S. digital healthcare market through a strategic business agreement.
The agreement primarily aims to facilitate the U.S. market entry and expand the market share of HUINNO’s AI-based ECG monitoring solution suite (MEMO Patch M, MEMO Cue, MEMO Care) and its clinical prediction solution, ‘Vital-PICASO’.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to cooperate closely across all business areas, including ▲building sales channels in the U.S., ▲establishing local marketing and brand strategies, ▲handling regulatory approvals and compliance, ▲providing logistics and operational support, and ▲discovering new business opportunities.
‘MEMO Patch M’ is an ultra-lightweight wearable electrocardiograph capable of continuous measurement for up to 8 days. It is designed for stable measurement even in defibrillation treatment environments and meets ‘Type CF Defib-proof,’ the strictest classification under the international safety standard for medical electrical equipment (IEC 60601-1). It received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance last year.
‘MEMO Cue,’ which includes the MEMO Patch M, is a smart AI telemetry solution that analyzes inpatient ECG data in real-time to detect abnormalities early and support swift decision-making by medical staff. It can be immediately applied to existing hospital infrastructure without separate communication network construction, maximizing patient management efficiency in the ICU and general wards.
MEMO Care is a long-term ECG analysis solution that uses AI to analyze ECG data collected for up to 14 days. It enables precision diagnostics that extend beyond short-term in-hospital monitoring to include at-home and out-of-ward environments.
‘Vital-PICASO,’ independently developed by HUINNO’s subsidiary HUINNO AIM, is a solution that analyzes vital sign data from general ward patients to predict major clinical deteriorations such as hypotension, hypoxia, and cardiac arrest in advance. It was designated as an Innovative Medical Device by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) last year.
An official from Yuhan Corporation stated, “Through this U.S. market entry via our two companies’ agreement, we expect that in the fields of ECG monitoring and clinical prediction solutions, products like MEMO Patch M and MEMO Cue will help medical staff make swift decisions and increase the efficiency of patient management in ICUs and general wards.”
