Samyang Foods will participate in ‘THAIFEX-ANUGA 2026,’ Asia’s largest food trade show, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Marking the 21st edition this year, THAIFEX-ANUGA is a large-scale trade fair jointly organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion under Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce and the Thai Chamber of Commerce. The event will run for five days from on May 26 to 30, and is expected to draw thousands of companies from more than 50 countries around the world, along with tens of thousands of visitors.
At this year’s exhibition, Samyang Foods will operate an experiential booth under the theme of ‘SAMYANG CRAVE LAB.’ The company plans to set up its major brands, including Buldak, MEP and Tangle, in the form of separate research labs so that visitors can naturally experience the distinctive characteristics of each brand.
Various tasting programs will also be held on-site by time slot. Along with the flagship Buldak Fried Noodles series, the company will present a diverse range of menu items aimed at appealing to visitors’ tastes, including the MEP and Tangle brands tailored to Southeast Asian preferences and canapés made with Buldak sauce.
Interactive events using digital technology will also be offered. Visitors who check product information through QR codes inside the booth and complete surveys or social media verification will receive exclusive branded merchandise, as part of efforts to heighten brand immersion.
Using this exhibition as a turning point, Samyang Foods plans to focus on solidifying the status of the Buldak brand, which already enjoys unrivaled recognition in the Southeast Asian market, while also raising awareness of newer brands. In particular, for the MEP brand, the company plans to continue expanding customized product lines using ingredients with strong local appeal, such as coriander and garlic.
A Samyang Foods official said the company had placed priority on providing visitors with an immersive experience in which they could directly taste and enjoy the brands at the event, and emphasized that it would continue strengthening communication with Southeast Asian consumers by putting forward not only Buldak but also differentiated brands.
