▣ About 'Aristos

' wine

'Aristos' wine was founded in 2003 by a collaboration of three people to create a French Burgundy style in Chile. The current owner, François Masso, began his relationship with Louis Michel Liger Belair, who was the seventh owner of the Vosne Romanee star domaine, when he studied abroad to obtain a master's degree in Dijon, Burgundy. In order to express Chile's terroir well, the wine created in collaboration with terroir consultant Pedro Farah has appeared like a comet since its first vintage in 2008, receiving a perfect score from the British wine magazine Decanter.

Aristos produces a total of four styles of wine: Duque, which is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, which means duke, and Duquesa, which is made of 100% Chardonnay, which means duchess, and Baron, which is made in the Bordeaux style, which means baron, and Baronesa, which is made in the authentic Chardonnay style, which means baroness. In order to produce wines with a style suitable for the aristocratic class, they adhere to organic farming methods so that the terroir can be well expressed.

Aristos, Baron's 2014 vintage is blended with 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot in the Cachapoal Valley in Chile's Central Valley. The ripe dark red fruit aroma such as blackberries and dark cherries, as well as the complexities of licorice, cloves, balsamic, cigars, earth, leather, and cacao, slowly showed their character, and they did not lose their elegance as velvet and as cape as nobles. The 2014 vintage received a score of 91 from Robert Parker, 94 from James Circle, and a Vivino rating of 4.2. Importer Enoteca Korea.
