해양·방위산업 분야 혁신 기술 발굴을 위한 글로벌 기술 챌린지 프로그램 ‘Be-CON Tech Challenge 2026’ 참가자 모집을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 오는 6월 부산 시그니엘에서 열리는 글로벌 해양기술·방위산업 컨퍼런스 ‘Be-CON 2026’ 연계 행사로 운영된다. ‘Be-CON 2026’은 해군과 방산 기업, 조선소, 해양기술 기업, 연구기관, 정책 관계자 등이 참여해 미래 해양 안보와 방위 기술 방향성을 논의하는 글로벌 협력 플랫폼이다.

“중요 인프라 보호 기술 찾는다”… AI·무인체계·사이버 보안 주목
올해 챌린지 주제는 ‘Critical Infrastructure Protection & Sustainment Solution’이다. 항만과 해저 케이블, 에너지 시설, 해양 플랫폼 등 국가 핵심 인프라를 복합 위협으로부터 보호하고 안정적으로 운영하기 위한 기술 솔루션 발굴이 핵심이다.
최근 해양·방위산업에서는 무인체계와 AI, 감시정찰, 사이버 위협 대응 기술 중요성이 커지면서 중요 인프라 보호 수요도 빠르게 확대되는 분위기다. 이번 프로그램은 단순 아이디어 공모를 넘어 실제 산업 현장 적용 가능성과 운영 구조까지 함께 검토하는 실전형 기술 제안 방식으로 운영된다.
참가자는 기술 구조와 시스템 운영 방식, 데이터 처리 방안, 현장 적용 가능성 등을 포함한 제안서를 제출해야 한다. 모집 대상은 대학과 연구기관, 스타트업, 중소·벤처기업 등이며 관련 기술과 아이디어를 보유한 팀이면 누구나 참여 가능하다.
가블러코리아는 우수 제안 기업을 대상으로 Be-CON 2026 발표 및 글로벌 네트워킹 기회를 제공하는 방안도 검토 중이다. 또 가블러 그룹의 글로벌 해양·방산 네트워크를 활용해 해외 기업 및 기관과의 협력 가능성도 지원할 계획이다.
회사 측은 이번 프로그램이 정부의 K-방산 스타트업 육성 기조와 맞물려 국내 기술 기반 조직들의 글로벌 시장 진출 기회 확대에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

that it has started recruiting participants for the 'Be-CON Tech Challenge 2026,' a global technology challenge program to discover innovative technologies in the marine and defense industries.
This program will be operated as an event linked to 'Be-CON 2026,' a global marine technology and defense industry conference to be held at Signiel Busan this coming June. 'Be-CON 2026' is a global cooperation platform where the Navy, defense companies, shipyards, marine technology companies, research institutions, and policy officials participate to discuss the future direction of maritime security and defense technology.

“Seeking Technologies to Protect Critical Infrastructure”… Focus on AI, Unmanned Systems, and Cybersecurity
The theme of this year's challenge is 'Critical Infrastructure Protection & Sustainment Solution.' The core focus is on discovering technological solutions to protect critical national infrastructure, such as ports, submarine cables, energy facilities, and offshore platforms, from complex threats and to ensure their stable operation.
In the maritime and defense industries, the growing importance of unmanned systems, AI, surveillance and reconnaissance, and cyber threat response technologies has recently led to a rapid expansion of the demand for protecting critical infrastructure. This program operates as a practical technology proposal method that goes beyond a simple idea contest to examine not only the feasibility of actual industrial application but also the operational structure.
Participants must submit a proposal including the technical structure, system operation method, data processing plan, and field applicability. Eligibility is open to universities, research institutions, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and venture companies, and any team possessing relevant technology and ideas is eligible to participate.
Gabler Korea is also considering providing excellent proposal companies with opportunities to present at Be-CON 2026 and engage in global networking. In addition, it plans to support potential collaborations with overseas companies and institutions by leveraging the Gabler Group's global maritime and defense network.
The company expects that this program, aligned with the government's policy of fostering K-defense startups, will also help expand opportunities for domestic technology-based organizations to enter the global market.

今年的挑战主题是“关键基础设施保护与保障解决方案”。其核心重点是探索技术解决方案，以保护国家关键基础设施（如港口、海底电缆、能源设施和海上平台）免受复杂威胁，并确保其稳定运行。
在海事和国防工业领域，无人系统、人工智能、监视侦察和网络威胁应对技术的重要性日益凸显，导致对关键基础设施保护的需求迅速增长。本项目采用务实的技术提案方法，超越了简单的创意竞赛，不仅考察实际工业应用的可行性，还深入研究其运行架构。
参赛者须提交一份提案，内容包括技术架构、系统运行方式、数据处理方案及适用领域。高校、科研机构、初创企业、中小企业及风险投资公司均可申请，任何拥有相关技术和创意的团队均可参加。
Gabler Korea 也在考虑为优秀的提案公司提供在 Be-CON 2026 上展示作品并参与全球交流的机会。此外，该公司还计划利用 Gabler 集团的全球海事和国防网络，支持与海外公司和机构的潜在合作。

Ce programme sera organisé dans le cadre de « Be-CON 2026 », une conférence internationale sur les technologies maritimes et l'industrie de la défense qui se tiendra au Signiel Busan en juin prochain. « Be-CON 2026 » est une plateforme de coopération mondiale réunissant la Marine, les entreprises de défense, les chantiers navals, les sociétés de technologies maritimes, les instituts de recherche et les décideurs politiques afin de débattre des orientations futures en matière de sécurité maritime et de technologies de défense.

« À la recherche de technologies pour protéger les infrastructures critiques »… Priorité à l’IA, aux systèmes sans pilote et à la cybersécurité
Le thème du concours de cette année est « Solutions de protection et de maintien en condition opérationnelle des infrastructures critiques ». L’objectif principal est de découvrir des solutions technologiques pour protéger les infrastructures nationales critiques, telles que les ports, les câbles sous-marins, les installations énergétiques et les plateformes offshore, contre les menaces complexes et pour assurer leur fonctionnement stable.
Dans les secteurs maritime et de la défense, l'importance croissante des systèmes autonomes, de l'intelligence artificielle, de la surveillance et de la reconnaissance, ainsi que des technologies de réponse aux cybermenaces, a récemment entraîné une forte augmentation de la demande en matière de protection des infrastructures critiques. Ce programme constitue une méthode pratique de proposition technologique qui va au-delà d'un simple concours d'idées pour examiner non seulement la faisabilité d'une application industrielle concrète, mais aussi sa structure opérationnelle.
Les participants doivent soumettre une proposition comprenant la structure technique, le mode de fonctionnement du système, le plan de traitement des données et le domaine d'application. Ce programme est ouvert aux universités, aux instituts de recherche, aux jeunes entreprises, aux PME et aux sociétés de capital-risque ; toute équipe possédant des technologies et des idées pertinentes est invitée à participer.
Gabler Korea envisage également d'offrir aux entreprises candidates les plus prometteuses la possibilité de présenter leurs projets à Be-CON 2026 et de développer leur réseau international. Par ailleurs, elle prévoit de soutenir d'éventuelles collaborations avec des entreprises et institutions étrangères en s'appuyant sur le réseau mondial du groupe Gabler dans les secteurs maritime et de la défense.
L'entreprise prévoit que ce programme, conforme à la politique gouvernementale visant à encourager les jeunes entreprises de défense coréennes, contribuera également à élargir les opportunités pour les organisations nationales à vocation technologique d'accéder au marché mondial.
