▲ 통영시, 겨울철 복지위기가구 발굴 캠페인
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 통영시가 보건복지부의 '겨울철 복지위기가구 발굴·지원' 평가에서 우수 지자체로 선정돼 보건복지부 장관 표창을 받았다.
21일 통영시에 따르면 이번 평가는 전국 229개 시·군·구를 대상으로 복지사각지대 발굴과 지원 실적, 민관 협력체계, 복지서비스 연계 성과 등을 종합 평가해 23개 우수 지자체를 선정했다.
통영시는 지난해 겨울철 복지위기가구 발굴계획을 수립하고 읍·면·동별 추진단을 운영했다. 지역사회보장협의체와 통장 등 민관 협력체계를 활용해 '찾아가GO, 함께하Go, 우리동네 온정수레'와 '작은 관심이 큰 겨울을 지킵니다' 캠페인을 추진하며 복지사각지대 발굴에 나섰다.
또 행복e음 복지사각지대 발굴시스템을 활용해 고위험 위기가구를 신속히 조사하고 공적급여와 민간 복지자원을 연계한 맞춤형 지원을 제공하는 등 지역 복지안전망 구축 성과를 인정받았다.
강석주 통영시장은 "이번 표창은 위기가구를 적극적으로 발굴하고 신속히 지원하기 위해 민관이 함께 노력한 결과"라며 "앞으로도 복지사각지대를 선제적으로 발굴해 맞춤형 복지서비스를 강화하고 소외되는 이웃이 없도록 하겠다"고 말했다.
