충주는 28일 남한강 일대의 수려한 풍광 속에서 아름다운 노을과 숲을 동시에 경험할 수 있는 체류형 관광시설 ‘건지노을숲’ 개관식을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 열린 개관 행사에는 충주시장과 시·도의원, 지역 주민 등 150여 명이 참석해 건지마을의 새로운 명소 탄생을 함께 축하했다.
건지노을숲이 들어선 건지마을은 오랫동안 탁 트인 남한강 석양 풍경으로 많은 사랑을 받아온 곳이다. 새로 개관한 건지노을숲은 다양한 활동이 가능한 체험관과 8개 객실 규모의 숙박동, 야외 산책로를 갖추고 있다. 여기에 아날로그 감성을 더한 LP 음악 감상실과 마음을 다스릴 수 있는 숲속 명상 공간 등 힐링형 편의시설을 함께 마련해 완성도를 높였다.
충주는 시설 정비와 최종 운영 준비 과정을 거쳐 오는 9월 21일부터 방문객 대상 정식 개장에 들어갈 계획이다.
