충북시군의회의장협의회는 26일 청주시의회 특별위원회실에서 제126차 정례회를 개최하고 제10대 전반기를 이끌어갈 임원진을 공식 선출했다. 이번 정례회에는 도내 시·군의회 의장단과 관계 공무원들이 한자리에 모여 상견례를 시작으로 임원 선출 및 지역 현안 논의를 진행했다.
이날 투표를 통해 제10대 전반기 협의회장으로 청주시의회 임은성 의장이 만장일치에 가까운 지지를 받으며 최종 선출됐다. 이와 함께 협의회를 이끌 임원진으로 부회장에는 제천시의회 이성진 의장과 옥천군의회 안효익 의장이 이름을 올렸으며, 감사에는 영동군의회 김오봉 의장과 음성군의회 서효석 의장, 간사에는 충주시의회 유영기 의장이 각각 선임됐다.
