【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군이 여성친화도시 재인증을 계기로 일자리와 돌봄, 안전, 군민 참여가 유기적으로 조화를 이루는 진천형 여성친화도시 조성에 속도를 낸다.
진천군은 지난 2020년 여성친화도시로 처음 지정된 이후 구축한 정책 기반과 민관협력 성과를 인정받아 성평등가족부로부터 다시 인증을 받았다. 진천군이 지향하는 여성친화도시는 여성만을 위한 정책을 넘어 아동, 청소년, 노인, 장애인 등 모든 군민이 안전하고 평등한 일상을 누리는 도시를 만들어가는 과정이다.
진천군은 새로운 5년의 도약을 위해 성평등 정책 추진체계 강화, 여성의 경제·사회 참여 확대, 지역사회 안전 증진, 가족친화적 돌봄환경 조성, 여성의 지역사회 활동역량 강화 등 5대 목표를 바탕으로 발전계획을 새롭게 정비했다. 특히 관련 조례 정비와 성별영향평가를 지속 추진하고 부서별 균형성과지표에 여성친화도시 기여도를 반영해 군정 전반의 협업 기반을 구축했다.
민관협력과 생활 밀착형 지원 사업도 한층 강화됐다. 지난 3월 29명으로 구성된 제4기 군민참여단이 발족해 2028년 3월까지 안전 모니터링과 개선안 제안 활동을 펼친다. 또한 소규모 기업의 여성 근로환경을 개선하는 여성일터 새단장 지원사업을 새로 추진하고, 여성안심지킴이집 및 안심 귀갓길 조성 등으로 생활 안전망을 다진다. 더불어 돌봄 노동자를 위한 심신 치유 프로그램을 운영하며 돌봄 서비스의 질적 향상을 도모하고 있다.
