진천군은 농협 진천군지부 지부장을 비롯한 임직원들이 군청을 직접 찾아 고향사랑기부금 800만 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
농협 진천군지부는 지난 2023년 고향사랑기부제가 도입된 이래 해마다 성금을 기탁하며 지역사회와의 상생을 실천해 왔다. 올해로 4년 연속 기부를 이어온 농협 진천군지부의 누적 기부 금액은 총 1,860만 원에 달하며, 지역 내 기부 문화 확산을 이끄는 마중물 역할을 하고 있다.
