【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천의 대표 특산물인 쌀이 청년농업인과 청소년들의 참신한 아이디어를 만나 프랑스 전통 디저트로 새롭게 탈바꿈했다. 진천군4-H연합회는 지난 19일부터 20일까지 이틀간 백곡면 연주마루에서 지역 청년농업인과 학생4-H 회원 100여 명을 대상으로 농업의 새로운 경쟁력을 발견하는 체험형 과제교육을 진행했다.
이번 교육은 딱딱한 이론 중심의 수업 방식에서 탈피해 지역 농산물을 직접 만지고 요리하는 실습형 프로그램으로 꾸며졌다. 참가자들의 눈길을 사로잡은 핵심 프로그램은 프랑스식 디저트인 ‘쌀 티그레 만들기’였다. 호랑이 무늬를 닮은 과자인 티그레에 접목된 이번 레시피는 진천군농업기술센터가 지역 쌀의 소비를 촉진하기 위해 자체 개발하고 기술을 이전한 특화 가공식품이다.
