옥천군은 지난 7월 18일부터 19일까지 이틀간 지역 고등학생들을 대상으로 맞춤형 상담을 선사하는 진학 지원 프로그램을 실시했다.
여름방학을 맞아 학생들이 진로 방향을 구체화하고 다가오는 2학기 진학 전략을 체계적으로 수립할 수 있도록 기획된 이번 프로그램에는 옥천 출신 대학생들이 멘토로 나섰다. 멘토들은 후배 학생들과 1대1로 매칭되어 실제 경험에 기반한 실질적인 진로 및 진학 상담을 진행했다.
멘토단은 대학 입시 준비 과정에서 경험한 시행착오와 이를 극복한 노하우를 생생하게 공유하며 후배들의 고민에 진심 어린 조언을 건넸다. 전공 선택 기준, 효과적인 학습 전략, 대학 생활 적응 팁 등 다채로운 주제를 다루며 학생들의 진학 이해도를 높였고, 선후배 간 자유로운 소통을 통해 궁금증을 해소하고 진학에 대한 자신감을 심어줬다.
