[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군이 세계 금연의 날(5월 31일)을 맞아 금연 분위기 확산과 건강한 생활습관 정착을 위한 집중 캠페인에 나선다.
산청군은 흡연예방교육과 금연 캠페인, 건강걷기 챌린지, 금연구역 집중 점검 등을 포함한 금연환경 조성 사업을 추진한다고 26일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 ‘담배, 5(오)늘부터 3(삼)가고 1(일)상은 건강하게!’를 주제로 진행된다. 군은 일상 속 금연 실천과 건강한 생활 습관 형성을 동시에 유도한다는 방침이다.
군은 지역 학교를 대상으로 흡연예방교육과 금연 캠페인을 실시해 청소년 흡연 진입을 예방하고 전자담배를 포함한 흡연의 유해성에 대한 인식 개선에 나설 계획이다.
참여형 프로그램으로는 모바일 앱 ‘워크온’을 활용한 ‘531 건강걷기 챌린지’가 운영된다. 참가자는 27일부터 31일까지 하루 5310보 걷기를 실천한 뒤 응모할 수 있으며, 추첨을 통해 300명에게 커피 쿠폰이 제공된다.
산청군은 학교 주변과 공공청사, 버스정류장, 공원 등 주요 금연구역에 대한 집중 단속과 현장 계도도 병행한다. 노후·훼손된 금연구역 표지판 정비를 통해 금연 환경 개선에도 나선다.
