[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시가 인구 위기 대응을 위해 생애주기별 맞춤형 여성가족정책을 확대하며 정주여건 개선에 나서고 있다.
시는 출산 친화적 분위기 조성을 위해 ‘행복해요! 맛남’ 사업을 추진, 둘째아 이상에서 첫째아까지 지원 대상을 확대하며 지역사회 참여형 출산 축하 문화를 확산하고 있다.
오는 5월 1일부터는 전국 최초로 신혼부부 자산형성 지원사업인 ‘밀양햇살두리통장’을 시행한다.
매월 10만 원 저축 시 동일 금액을 지원해 3년간 최대 720만 원의 자산 형성을 돕고, 출산 시 지원 기간을 연장해 결혼·출산·양육을 연계 지원한다.
돌봄 서비스도 개선돼 아이돌봄 대기일은 110일에서 26일로 단축됐다.
본인부담금 지원 확대와 장난감 도서관 연회비 폐지 등을 통해 양육 부담을 낮추고 돌봄 공백 해소에 기여하고 있다.
이와 함께 위기 아동 조기 발굴 프로그램과 다문화가정 정착 지원 사업을 운영하며 사각지대 없는 복지 안전망 구축에도 힘을 쏟고 있다.
밀양시 관계자는 “시민이 체감할 수 있는 연속성 있는 지원체계 구축에 집중하고 있다”며 “아이와 가족이 함께 행복한 도시 조성을 위해 정책 실효성을 지속적으로 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.
