[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시가 사회적 고립가구의 안전망 강화를 위한 ‘밀양 이음 똑똑, 안부살핌 우편서비스 사업’을 본격 시행한다.

밀양시는 공모사업으로 선정된 이번 사업을 통해 사회적 고립가구와 고립청년 180명을 대상으로 오는 11월까지 안부 확인 서비스를 운영한다고 13일 밝혔다.

사업은 집배원이 월 2회 대상 가구를 방문해 물품을 대면 배송하고 안부를 직접 확인하는 방식으로 진행된다. 시는 이를 통해 고립가구의 위험 요인을 조기에 파악하고 복지 사각지대를 줄인다는 계획이다.

시는 또 고독사 예방 및 사후 관리를 위해 ‘밀양형 마침표 사업’도 함께 추진하고 있다.

이 사업은 관내 저소득층 고독사 및 무연고 사망자의 유품 정리와 청소를 지원하는 사업으로, 자활사업단과 연계해 운영된다. 서비스 신청은 주소지 읍·면·동 행정복지센터에서 가능하다.
