Marking its 31st anniversary this year, the event will take place under the slogan "Gender Equality for All, Wider and Deeper." The main commemorative ceremony, starting at 2:00 PM on September 3, will open with an emotional pre-ceremony performance by the pan flute group "Pentagon." This will be followed by an awards ceremony honoring individuals who have spearheaded the realization of gender equality and the advancement of women's rights within the region. In particular, this year’s commemorative performance features the "Magic Fruit Performance," which symbolically expresses the fruits of equality by uniting the voices of citizens. Beyond mere viewing, it is expected to become an interactive stage centered on workplaces and living spaces, where participants pledge to embrace a vision of gender equality in their daily lives.
