[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 청년 제안으로 마련된 주민참여예산 사업을 통해 ESG 실무 인재 양성에 나선다. 지역 기업의 ESG 대응 역량을 높이는 동시에 청년 취업 연계까지 지원한다는 계획이다.
김해시는 7일 ‘2026 ESG 경영관리 전문인력 양성 및 취업연계 과정’ 상반기 수강생 15명을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 청년들이 직접 제안한 ‘2026년 청년참여형 주민참여예산’ 사업으로 추진된다. 글로벌 ESG 공시 의무화 확대에 따라 전문인력 확보에 어려움을 겪는 지역 중소·중견기업의 수요를 반영해 마련됐다.
교육은 오는 6월 13일부터 7월 4일까지 매주 토요일 김해청년다옴에서 진행된다. ESG 분야별 최신 동향과 공시 기초 이론 교육을 비롯해 업사이클링 화분 만들기, 사회·지배구조 관련 보드게임, 지역 ESG 우수기업 현장 견학 등 참여형 실습 중심으로 운영된다.
수료생에게는 공식 수료증이 발급되며 ESG 직무 특화 이력서·자기소개서 컨설팅, 모의면접, 전문가 멘토링 등 취업 연계 프로그램도 지원된다.
모집 대상은 공고일 기준 김해시에 거주하거나 지역 대학·직장에 다니는 19~45세 청년이다. 접수는 8일부터 27일까지 온라인으로 진행되며 지원 동기와 참여 의지 등을 심사해 최종 15명을 선발한다. 교육비는 전액 무료다.
우미연 김해시 인구청년정책관은 “청년들이 필요성을 느껴 직접 제안하고 예산까지 편성된 사업인 만큼 지역 기업에는 준비된 인재를 공급하고 청년들에게는 양질의 취업 기회를 제공하는 연결 고리가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Gimhae City to Foster 'ESG Practical Talent' Based on Youth Proposals
Gimhae City is embarking on the cultivation of practical ESG talent through a participatory budgeting project established based on proposals from young people. The plan is to enhance the ESG response capabilities of local companies while simultaneously supporting job placement for young people.
On the 7th, Gimhae City announced that it is recruiting 15 students for the first half of the ‘2026 ESG Management Professional Training and Job Placement Course.’

The recruitment target is young adults aged 19 to 45 who reside in Gimhae City or attend a local university or work as of the announcement date. Applications will be accepted online from the 8th to the 27th, and 15 finalists will be selected based on an evaluation of their motivation and willingness to participate. The training is entirely free of charge.
