[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시산악연맹이 주최한 제1회 김해시산악연맹회장기 무척산 트레일 챌린지가 지난 31일 무척산 일원에서 열렸다.

이번 대회는 안전산행문화 확산과 산악인의 전문성 향상을 위해 마련됐으며, 전문등산심판 3급 심판진이 참여한 가운데 김해지역 산악회 회원과 산악인들이 참가했다.

참가자들은 문제 풀이를 비롯해 복장·장비 점검, 정상 인증, 매듭 평가 등 산행 과정에서 필요한 다양한 과제를 수행하며 기량과 협동 능력을 평가받았다.

대회 결과 김해토요한마음산악회가 3개 팀을 출전시켜 단체전 1·2·3위를 모두 차지했다.

김해시산악연맹은 이번 대회를 통해 전문등산심판 운영체계를 현장에 적용하고 안전산행 실천 역량을 점검하는 계기를 마련했다고 설명했다. 연맹은 앞으로 청소년 산악인 육성과 스포츠클라이밍 연계 사업 등을 추진해 지역 산악문화 활성화에 나설 계획이다.

이희복 김해시산악연맹 회장은 “첫 대회임에도 많은 산악인이 참여해 행사를 성공적으로 마칠 수 있었다”며 “지속적인 개최를 통해 김해를 대표하는 산악행사로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The 1st Gimhae City Mountaineering Federation President's Cup Mt. Mucheok Trail Challenge, hosted by the Gimhae City Mountaineering Federation, was held on the 31st in the Mt. Mucheok area.

This competition was organized to spread a culture of safe hiking and enhance the professionalism of mountaineers. Members of mountaineering clubs and mountaineers from the Gimhae region participated, accompanied by a team of Level 3 professional mountaineering referees.

The federation plans to revitalize local mountaineering culture by promoting the nurturing of youth mountaineers and implementing projects linked to sport climbing.

Lee Hee-bok, President of the Gimhae City Mountaineering Federation, said, “Despite it being the first competition, many mountaineers participated, allowing us to successfully conclude the event,” adding, “We will develop this into a representative mountaineering event for Gimhae through continuous hosting.”
