(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주광역시 소방안전본부는 지난 28일 본부 회의실에서 신속하고 정확한 인명구조 활동으로 시민의 생명을 보호한 구조대원들을 격려하기 위한 ‘제9회 라이프세이버 인증서 시상식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
‘라이프세이버’ 인증은 구조대원의 자긍심을 고취하고 팀 단위 구조전술 훈련을 활성화하여, 구조대의 전문성과 현장 대응력을 강화하기 위해 매년 상·하반기 두 차례 시행되고 있는 제도다.
올해 상반기 라이프세이버의 영예는 119특수대응단 특수구조대 2팀 소속 대원들에게 돌아갔다. 수상자는 ▲차병구 소방경 ▲이영태 소방위 ▲이행준·송인성·김세웅·이형재 소방장 ▲심현보·임종필 소방교 ▲주현수 소방사 등 총 9명이다.
이들은 광주소방안전본부 주관 ‘2026년도 구조훈련평가 자체경연대회’에서 종합 1위를 차지하며 탁월한 구조 역량을 입증했다. 특히 평소 탄탄한 팀워크를 바탕으로 실전과 같은 강도 높은 훈련을 반복하며 시민 안전을 지키는 데 앞장서 온 점이 높게 평가되어 최우수 구조팀으로 선정됐다.
