시민연대는 30일 오전 10시 30분, 민주당 광주시당 앞에서 ‘투쟁 12일차 집회’를 열고 정청래 대표의 사당화 행보를 강하게 비판했다.
이날 발언자로 나선 이주연 시민연대 대외협력위원장은 “견제받지 않는 권력은 절대 부패하기 마련인데, 정청래 대표가 그 대표적인 사례”라고 직격탄을 날렸다. 이 위원장은 특히 “광주·전남은 물론 전북지사 경선까지 ‘흙탕물 경선’으로 얼룩졌음에도 이를 지적하는 국회의원이 한 명도 없다”며, “이는 부당한 권력 앞에서 눈치를 보느라 정신줄을 놓고 있기 때문”이라고 질타했다.
