CG MedTech said Thursday that it has completed a smart office project at its headquarters in Uijeongbu, north of Seoul, as part of efforts to expand its production infrastructure and advance organizational operations.
The company reorganized key floors in Buildings A and C at its Uijeongbu headquarters as part of the initiative. It introduced a flexible seating system, along with open collaboration spaces and small meeting booths.

CG MedTech also recently completed renovations to the lobby of Building A. The redesigned lobby is expected to serve as a space that conveys the company’s brand image to visitors, while also functioning as an area where employees can share the company’s direction and corporate culture.
The company emphasized that the smart office project goes beyond a simple upgrade of office space, describing it as part of a broader shift in work practices to support business expansion.
Meanwhile, CG MedTech is accelerating the expansion of its production infrastructure.
The company recently completed an extension of its orthopedic metal implant CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organization) facility (Building D) near its Uijeongbu headquarters. With this addition, the company’s annual production capacity for orthopedic metal implants has increased from 200,000 units to over 600,000 units, more than tripling output.
“Building a smart office is not merely about improving physical space, but about enhancing how we work in line with business growth,” CEO Yu Hyun-seung said. “Alongside strengthening our production capabilities, we will continue to expand an environment that enables employees to collaborate more efficiently and stay fully engaged.”
