Krafton is facing difficulties in discovering new titles to succeed Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). While experimental ventures continue, they have yet to translate into tangible results. Concerns are growing that the company's focus on its core gaming business is waning as it turns its attention to non-gaming ventures such as physical AI.

According to industry sources on the 2nd, Krafton's early access title 'PUBG: Blind Spot' ended its service on March 30. The decision came approximately 55 days after the service launch.
Developed by Krafton's subsidiary studio Arc Team, Blind Spot was a top-down 5v5 tactical shooting game and a spin-off sharing the PUBG universe. Despite touting tactical design similar to Rainbow Six: Siege and easy accessibility, it was met with market indifference. Steam concurrent users dropped from around 3,000 on launch day (February 5) to the 200s by the time of service termination.
'New State Mobile,' launched in November 2021, was marketed as a futuristic version of PUBG. While it attracted 55 million pre-registrations before launch, its popularity quickly faded due to various bugs and operational issues. Although still in service, it struggles to regain traffic amid concerns over cannibalization with the existing PUBG Mobile.
